Shalom Alecheim from Sha’arey Tzion Messianic Synagogue. We invite you to come and worship the God of our Fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob with us as we celebrate the salvation brought to us by Yeshua of Nazareth, the King Messiah.
Messianic means “of the Messiah.” As a Messianic congregation we are made up of Jews and non-Jews who have a love for God and His Messiah, Torah, Israel, the Jewish people and their heritage. We are committed to following Yeshua the Messiah, trusting in Him, and upholding the scriptures he taught and the religion he practiced.
Sha’arey Tzion means ”Gates of Tzion”. It is taken in rememberance of the ancient gates through which all who would come would pass through on their way to worship. It is through those gates one must go in order to ascend to the Holy Temple of God.
The services can be followed in the Siddur (prayer book) which is provided. The Siddur is written in Hebrew, transliterated Hebrew, and also in English. Men are invited to wear a Kippah/Yalmuka (head covering) and Tallit (Prayer Shawl) which are available in the back of the sanctuary. A lace head covering for women is also provided. These traditional garments are worn as a sign of respect toward God.
Our services contain different elements of traditional Synagogue liturgy, praise and worship in music and Davidic dance, and a message from the Rabbi. Afterwords we will have a time of fellowship and a small lunch. You may bring a dish if you would like, we request only that it would be dairy and parve (no meat).
Our Shabbat services are held 10:30 every Saturday Morning at Salem Baptist Church Corner of Chelton and Airport Colorado Springs CO.
Tuesday Evening Bible Studies begin at 7:00 p.m
If you have any questions or prayer requests, please contact Reb Jimmy at 573-0380. Please see our weekly bulletins for announcements concerning our activities.
